Ghana Music Culture displayed By Mr. Drew and Band

It was an exciting evening at Coco Vanilla in East Legon as Mr. Drew and band treated fans to a moment of Afrobeats and Highlife show during their performance at the cultural music event organized to celebrate Ghanaian music culture.

The event was also graced by some popular Ghanaian musicians like Cina Soul, Adina, Dblack band, Kofi Bruce, Dr. Poh amongst others.
The band gave an outstanding performance with melodic songs and the instrumentalists matched the performance with a well-orchestrated stagecraft. During the performance of some Afrobeats songs, the band proved that Ghanaian music culture is one that employs live band performances. Due to the electronic and synth instruments used in Afrobeats songs, many has questioned its performance with a band since it gained traction. Mr Drew and the band addressed this with their thrilling performance at the cultural event. The band, made up of talented musicians performed with both electronic and traditional instruments in making a cultural statement. Drums keyboards and guitars were on stage alongside traditional instruments like conga, jembe and gome.

Culture of Wogbejeke concert is an event organized to bring under its umbrella, acts that define the true culture of Ghanaian music and arts. This year’s event fused both contemporary and traditional Ghanaian musicians that hosted Highlife, Hiplife, Afrobeats and traditional Ghanaian music genres.
