Shatta Wale Reviving Live band performance

Ghanaian dancehall and afrobeat artiste charles Nii Armah Mensah known by the stage name Shatta Wale over the weekend demonstrated his creativity and dexterity at a live band music festival held in Accra by Azure Promotions.

The celebration of Ghanaian music and culture included performances from a number of carefully chosen musicians including Shatta Wale, Mr Drew and others.

On a single stage, the music festival drew together thousands of admirers from all across the city who danced wildly to the sounds of all the performers billed for the event.
Music lovers saw performances from some of the artists on the bill before Shatta Wale and his band took the stage with electrifying top notch performances. The “ I Know My Level” hit maker who performed live with a band throughout his stage performance was outstanding and gave the audience hits after hit.
Some reserved members of the audience were on their feet in utter enthusiasm as the vivacious performer gave an irresistible and spectacular performance.

Shatta Wale gave music lovers a selection of his well-known hit songs, such as “Dancehall King”, “Low Tempo”, among others, which kept the crowd on their feet throughout his performance.
He equally demonstrated several dance movements to the amusement of many. Worth mentioning is that moment the bassist, popularly known by many as Otaalawa, who is known in real life as Ibrahim Tukuru and Emmanuel Ackah, the kora player took the performance to another level with their “call and response” instrumental interlude. The performance proved to everyone in attendance that they were unquestionably a force to reckoned with on the night.

Many music lovers were unable to contain their excitement and demanded more of the artist and his band simply because they gave an incredible performance. Some attendees at the event turned into amateur photographers, using their various cell phones to capture Shatta Wale performing live on stage.

Ever since he joined the music industry, Shatta Wale has won the hearts of many music lovers in the country and beyond with his music and stage performance.
