Ghanaian actress and movie producer, Yvonne Nelson has defended why she refused to employ a gentleman she blocked on Twitter. According to Yvonne, an unidentified person came to her to be interviewed for the personal assistant position. However, when she asked for his Twitter handle, she realised it was someone she had blocked on the social media platform.
Yvonne shared the news on her Twitter and asked her followers to be wary of the kinds of things they say to people on social media.
Famous people all over the world have been victims of online bullying and trolls and in a quest to control it, they block users who say harmful/hurtful things to them.
“Stay on Twitter and continue fooling and insulting people you’ve never met. Your future self will regret it. One guy came for a job interview and I asked him for his Twitter handle, guess what, I blocked him. Well….you know the rest. Keep fooling wai,” Yvonne shared on Twitter.
