DSP Kofi Sarpong Honored A First Degree From The Ghana Institute Of Management And Public Administration (GIMPA).

Ghanaian gospel singer DSP Kofi Sarpong has bagged a first degree from The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He was a part of the 22nd Congregation of GIMPA who studied Public Administration and was awarded a second-class upper honours certificate.

In some videos circulating online, the celebrated Ghana Police Service personnel is seen happily seated at the venue for the congregation with other mates of his. Actress Sinare and A Plus were other celebrities who graduated with DSP Kofi Sarpong today.

This road to attaining higher education hasn’t been easy for DSP Kofi Sarpong.  In an interview with Afia Amankwa Tamakloe on Adom TV’s M’ashyese3 show, he how he had to drop out of school due to financial constraints while growing up.

” I am from Berekum and that was where I lived most of my life but my father as a policeman was often transferred and had to move along. But at a point, my grandmother stopped my mother from any relocation because she was fed up. My father also left and never returned until I was about to write my O’level exam”. he said.
