Gospel Music Awards: ‘W’ahoɔden’ Wins Quame Gyedu Songwriter Of The Year

The just-ended Ghana National Gospel Music Award crowned Quame Gyedu the Songwriter Of the Year outdoing Diana Hamilton, MOG, Akesse Brempong, Ruth Adjei, Carl Clottey, Perez Music, Celestine Donkor and Magnus who were nominated in the same category.

For fans of the ‘W’ahoɔden’ hitmaker, the victory doesn’t come as a surprise because according to them, Quame Gyedu is noted to be a prolific songwriter.

Quame has numerous songs played on the airwaves with the likes of ‘W’adom’, and ‘Edin Jesus’ ft. Efe Grace, ‘I win’, ‘Nkwagye and the ‘W’ahoɔden song which earned him the recent award.

Upon winning the award, Quame did not have much to say except to say in a few words,” I believe to belongs Jesus.”
