The battle between the European National teams is gradually upon us and Germany is approved to host the upcoming UEFA Euro 2024. The qualifying draw which is set to take place at Frankfurt in Germany on October 9, 2022 will see Russia excluded from this year’s qualifiers and thus out of the tournament.
Russia’s national teams faces indefinite suspension from all UEFA competitions as a result of the ongoing war in Ukraine. This decision approved by the UEFA Executive Committee was effective on February 28,2022.
The host nation qualifies automatically and thus won’t be taking part in the qualifying draw. 53 national representatives of their respective Nation will take part in the draw, to allocate the various teams into 10groups; 7 groups of 5 teams and 3 groups of 6 teams.
With 53 teams competing for a spot in the final tournament, which teams make it? This is going to be a long and fun season of qualifying matches.
