‘If Blacko’s Album Do Better Than Us Kwuraa, We Like And We Hear At The End Of The Day Ghana Wins’ – Shatta Response To Bulldog

Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale has responded to critics who think his yet-to-be-released “Gift of God” album will not catch up to Black Sherif’s.

On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Black Sherif released his debut studio album, “The Villain I Never Was” and it has got the entire country talking.

Earlier today, Artiste Manager, Bulldog had opined Blacko’s album would do better than the anticipated Sarkodie and Shatta Wale albums. Speaking on Day Break Hitz on Hitz FM this morning, Bulldog stated;

“I woke up this morning and I was like wow, this month of October is a serious month because we have three of our artists releasing. Black Sherif just released, Sarkodie will release in a few days, and then Shatta will release. Now listen, from the top of my head I said Black Sherif would do better than all of them,” Bulldog stated on the show.

Explaining why he thinks Blacko’s album will top any other albums, he stated;

“If you look at the numbers, Black Sherif has a label. Shatta is about to compete with Empire (Black Sherif’s record label), and Sarkodie is about to compete, they don’t have the strength to do that, they don’t. Empire is a subsidiary of all the Warners and all that, they don’t have the power, in terms of reach Blacko will do better, unless some miracle. But you see music has changed in the system…you can’t do this alone. It’s not about the talent, it’s about the reach.”

Reacting to Bulldog’s comments, Shatta Wale has in a post on Facebook stated that he doesn’t care if Blacko’s album does better than his because, at the end of it all, it’s a win for Ghana music.

“Eeerrrhhh if Blacko’s album will do better than us kwraaa, we like and we hear …at the end of the day Ghana wins …Foolish people …All be money matter -You too find something to do and stop that Nonsense…MAKE MONEY in your own way !!” he shared on Facebook.
