Black Sherif’s Debut album “The Villain I Never Was” Hits 100M Streams On Boomplay

Black Sherif‘s debut album, “The Villain I Never Was“, a week after its release has clocked yet another Ghanaian first milestone, for an album, on Boomplay – 100M Streams.

What a phenomenal run Blacko is on!

Blacko’s “The Villain I Never Was” dropped on 6th October, 2022, to critical acclaim and rave reviews on social media.

Songs including “45”, “Oh Paradise”, “Konongo Zongo” and “Oil in My Head” are so far fans’ favourites off the project.

This notwithstanding, the project’s prelude singles in “Second Sermon”, “Kwaku The Traveller” and “Soja” are also still receiving heavy plays from fans and rotation on radio.

In a related development, Blacko has dropped the official music video for focus track “45” off the album which is directed TG Omori.
