“Big shoutouts to my superstar Blacko. Blacko hit me up last minute of this project, ‘Landlord I have to be on Jamz’. I said, pull up,” Sarkodie disclosed.
Other artists featured on the ‘Jamz’ album are King Promise, Oxlade, Cina Soul, Joeboy, BXBN, Kranium, Lojay and Ink Boy.
One thing he also said is how he came about “One Million Cedis” which happens to be the 4th track on the album.
“So I love organic things, if you listen to, there is a song on there called one million cedis featuring Ink Boy, nobody has an idea who the boy is. I was in Nigeria I had a bunch of superstars in the building my apartment, Phyno was there, Joeboy, Mastercraft, Rexy, everybody and then we created the beat and I heard some kid in the corner making melodies and I was like who’s that, too bro let me hear when he started singing I was like this is the hook and then the guys were like, but you get some out there to do that no no I don’t care about who sang it, I am moved organically by the music first and if it happens to be Micheal Jackson then that’s it but the important thing is who’s gonna do it”.
As it stands now nobody really has a clue about who Ink Boy is and what his style of singing sounds like, we shall find out when the album is out.
