Although veteran actor, Fred Amugi is one of the most popular faces on Ghanaian television and beyond, he is yet to see himself on a billboard.
The actor, who turned 74 on November 5, shared that his one wish is to see brands engage him as their brand ambassador.
According to Mr Amugi, he doesn’t want a situation whereby his face is mounted on giant billboards after he has left this world.
Well, one wish I would love to have for my 74th birthday is to see myself on billboards as a brand ambassador. I wouldn’t want to die before I’m mounted on billboards when I wouldn’t see what corporate Ghana did for me,” he said in a video that has been shared online.
The actor also threw a challenge to corporate Ghana to make his wish come true.
“So, corporate Ghana, here I am, I’m prepared to be a brand ambassador for your products. Use me while I’m alive, not when I’m dead and gone,” he added
Fred Amugi is one of the prominent faces in Ghanaian movie industry. He rose to prominence for his role in 1985 television series “Opinto”.
He is most noted for his roles in Judgement Day, Holby City, Beasts of No Nation, and The Cursed Ones.
He has been nominated for and won several movie awards including the Ghana Movie Awards.
