Ghanaian Reggae Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has condemned the recent violence happening to his beloved people in Ashaiman.
On Tuesday 7th March 2023, the good people of Ashaiman woke up to see the Ghana Arm Forces take over the town brutalizing everyone they come across both the streets and individual homes leaving them nothing but to lock up themselves in their rooms.
There was brutality by some soldiers who are said to have stormed Ashaiman, a suburb of Accra since midnight.
This comes days after their colleague was allegedly stabbed to death by unknown assailants in the area.
Commenting on the circulation is Stonebwoy who live all his life in the town in question.
“It’s 9 am in New York and I’m just waking up to the news of what’s going on in my beloved Ashaiman. I unequivocally condemn all acts of violence and lawlessness, whether it relates to the brutalization of innocent civilians or the unlawful killing of a member of the armed forces. May all those culpable be found out and made to face the law fully” He said
