Paul Christopher Burke And His Wife Angela Brown Burke Visit Ghana For Their Son’s Traditional Marriage

Active and former (PNP) People’s National Party in Jamaica Paul Christopher Burke and his beautiful wedded wife Angela Brown Burke got a warm welcome from the lovely people of Ga and Sowuotum Traditional Council led by His Royal Highness Nii Osabu Akwei I upon their arrival at the Kotoka International Airport last Night.

The Paul family and friends are in Ghana to support their son who will soon be getting married to a Ghanaian-born Lady based in Jamaica this weekend, djashmen.com captured a beautiful moment after his arrival.

 

Paul Christopher Burke is a Jamaican politician who was born on February 10, 1957, in the parish of St. Mary. He is a member of the People’s National Party (PNP) and has been actively involved in Jamaican politics for several decades.

Burke was first elected to the Jamaican Parliament in 1997, representing the constituency of East Kingston and Port Royal. He served in various ministerial roles in the PNP government, including Minister of National Security and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade.

In 2014, Burke was elected as the Chairman of the PNP, the party’s highest-ranking position. However, he resigned from the position in 2016 following the PNP’s defeat in the general elections held that year.

Burke has been a vocal advocate for social justice and has worked to improve the lives of Jamaican citizens, particularly those from marginalized communities. He has also been a strong supporter of regional integration and has worked to strengthen Jamaica’s relationships with other Caribbean countries.

In recent years, Burke has continued to play an active role in Jamaican politics and has been a frequent commentator on political issues in the country.

These included the establishment of a police complaints authority and the implementation of a national security strategy focused on community policing and crime prevention.
