“Nobody Is The Cause Of Your Bad Choice In life” – Sarkodie Responds To Yvonne Nelson

Sarkodie and Yvonne Nelson

Ghanaian BET Award-Winning rapper, Sarkodie has taken a centre in what is said to be a bombshell after his ex-Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson released her book titled (I Am Not Yvonne Nelson) which she made mentions Sarkodie as the man she intends to have a baby with.

Sarkodie, recently released a new song entitled “Try Me”, which is considered a reply to Yvonne Nelson. The track serves as a captivating response to renowned actress Yvonne Nelson. “Try Me” is not your typical diss track filled with resentful lyrics or bitterness. Instead, it’s a thought-provoking piece that makes you view things from Sarkodie’s perspective. Through precise lyricism and poignant delivery, he phenomenally articulates his thoughts and feelings without descending into spiteful mudslinging. With palpable emotion laced through every note and rhythm, it indeed exemplifies why Sarkodie continues to command respect on the African music scene.

Finally responding to the claims in his new ‘Try Me’ song, Sarkodie said he wasn’t the one that solely called for the abortion. He revealed that Yvonne Nelson said she couldn’t have kept it because she was in school then.

“I never thought I was going on this wave, cause I was ready to take a couple of things to my grave. First of all, let me clap for you baby you are brave but you can’t pick and choose what to say pls behave, nobody sent you so Ohemaa if you want to talk, you have to tell the world every n*gga that you f*cked” Sarkodie rapped.

He continues that ” I am not going to sit here and lie we had a thing, first I thought we were cool till I had a thing … You told me you were pregnant and I was the one to be blamed … yes I wasn’t ready but I told you to keep it and you explained that you have to complete your school”.

“To be honest, to date, I don’t believe it because I said my doctor should take care of you and you said you don’t need it. After the conversation, you sent me a text that a friend of yours said she had a doctor and he is the best. So don’t make it seem like I was the one pushing you for abortion because that’s the only part that made me angry,” Sarkodie said.

The sharp-tongued Ghanaian released the song on Wednesday, 28th June 2023 at 1:4am when he tweeted the link to the song uploaded on his YouTube channel. Check it out below and share your thoughts with us.
