Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA) To Honour Adwoa Smart

The Ghana Outstanding Women Awards (GOWA), is set to bestow a remarkable honor upon Veteran Ghanaian actress, Belinda Naa Ode Oku, well recognized by all as Adwoa Smart, at the 2023 edition of the award scheme.

According to Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ASKOF Productions not much attention has been paid to Adwoa Smart despite her distinctive talent and unforgettable contributions to the Ghanaian entertainment industry.

The honorary award is therefore in recognition of her immense contribution to the space, specifically the Ghana movie industry.

The awards ceremony, which is the 6th edition, will take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) in Accra on  Sunday, September 10.

The humanitarian awards scheme aims at celebrating and recognizing  the efforts of  distinguish women who have stood out in their respective fields of endeavours in the year under review.
