Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boyhas become the first African artist to have a number-one album in the United Kingdom with “I Told Them.”
Burna Boy’s seventh studio album, “I Told Them,” debuted at number one on the UK albums chart this week, according to the Official Charts Company.
In recognition of his record, the British record chart business honored the ‘African Giant’ singer with a plaque. “He told them! @burnaboy makes UK chart HISTORY today as he claims his first Number 1 album,” the company tweeted.
