Ghanaian songstress Sista Afia has expressed her frustration over the lack of support from some female artistes, accusing them of not replicating her kind gestures towards them.
In an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, she talked about how disappointed she was with female artists she helped but didn’t promote.
“Don’t ever do shows and call me. They know themselves,” she said.
Sista Afia also talked about the challenges Ghanaian female musicians face and how they are not given the necessary attention and recognition regardless of their efforts and hard work. She pointed out that this is because female musicians are underappreciated.
She has a new song out right now called Krekete Soja, which features Amerado.
