R2Bees Live In Ohio, organised by AK24 Entertainment and sponsored by Lemfi, went down as one of the most historic nights in African music on American soil.
Columbus Ohio will not be forgetting the night of 15th August 2026 in a hurry, and every single person in that venue knew they were witnessing something special.
The Bluestone in Columbus was filled to the absolute brim, not an empty space in sight. And in doing so, R2Bees achieved something no African act had ever done before; selling out the iconic venue entirely.
In the same breath, R2Bees became the first Afrobeats artists to ever perform at the iconic Bluestone venue. Two firsts in one night, let that sink in!
From the moment the energy in the room started building, it was clear this was not going to be an ordinary concert.
The crowd was electric from start to finish, on their feet throughout R2Bees’ headline performance, singing every word, feeling every beat.
Paedae (Omar Sterling) and Mugeez held that room like seasoned generals, delivering the kind of performance that reminds you exactly why they are Ghana’s greatest duo.
AK24 Entertainment, organisers of the event, captured the feeling perfectly after the night. “What a night. What a moment. R2Bees Live In Ohio was one for the books,” they shared, extending gratitude to every ticket buyer, traveller, supporter, sponsor, and behind-the-scenes worker who made the night possible.

R2Bees themselves kept it simple but said everything. “Thank you Ohio. Last night was craaaaazy,” the duo shared on their social media page and honestly, no further explanation was needed.
Sponsored by Lemfi and powered by AK24 Entertainment, R2Bees Live In Ohio was not just a concert.
It was a statement that Ghanaian music belongs on every stage in the world, and Ghana’s finest are more than ready to fill them.
