M.anifest Propose More Entertainment lawyers and Music Professionals In The Industry

Following the recent legal issues in the creative space, Ghanaian rapper M.anifest has proposed that the industry hire more professionals to handle such issues.

M.anifest wrote on Facebook:

“I’ve been seeing a lot of legal issues in the African music/arts ecosystem popping up lately. We could do with more entertainment lawyers and other diligent music professionals. Not everyday rapping, singing, and dancing.”

See his post below.

M.anifest’s submission is based on recent claims by Ghanaian musician Kirani Ayat that the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) used images from his ‘Guda’ video without his permission for a tourism promotion advertisement.
