Bisa kdei Takes Over Indigo O2 For His 10 Years In Music Celebration

Ghanaian Highlife Singer, Ronald Kweku Dei Appiah popularly known in the showbiz circles as Bisa Kdei, is set to celebrate his 10 years of experience in the music industry with a concert in London, Indigo at The O2, on November 18, 2022.

The award-winning highlife singer expressed great excitement considering how far he has come in the industry.

He said.

“It is a great feeling to stage this concert in the UK as I celebrate 10 of doing music, I want to urge my fans to come out in their numbers to support me”

Bisa Kdei also appreciated his fans who played part in his success story as a musician. And assured them of an unforgettable concert. The Odo Carpenter hitmaker indicated that the concert will be held in the UK and Ghana respectively.

“I will organize another concert in Ghana after that of the UK to celebrate my success”, Bisa Kdei noted

The UK concert is scheduled to come off in London, Indigo at The O2, on November 18, 2022.

IN 2012, he became the first Ghanaian propelled into the limelight with a movie soundtrack. The song, Azonto Ghost was well received and instantly made Bisa Kdei a household name.

And to ensure his name resounded in the ears of Ghanaians, Bisa Kdei has since produced three beautiful albums oozing with hit songs such as Odo Carpenter, Over, Asew, Brother Brother, Mansa, Metanfo, Kakape, Baba, Jwe, Fakye among others.

His song, Asew on his Highlife Connet album released in 2018 was featured in a Netflix production, Jingle Jangle in 2020.

Bisa Kdei is the first Ghanaian artiste to break into the limelight with a movie soundtrack, Azonto Ghost. The following year, the song won Best Sound Track of the Year at Ghana Movie Awards 2013 and Kumawood Awards 2013.

His music journey has seen him collaborate with some top musicians in Ghana as well as foreign ones including Sarkodie, D-Black, Efya, Obrafour, Kwaw Kese, M.anifest, Stonebwoy, Medikal, Becca, E.L, R2Bees, Samini, Irene Logan, Kofi Nti, Keche, Lighter, Patoranking and Reekado Banks. One of his songs Asew was featured on Jingle Jangle on Netflix in 2020.

Bisa Kdei self-produced some of these collaborations from his studio; Chingam with Sarkodie, One of Your Own with Efya, Pimpinaa with Obrafour, etc.

He has cited Nana Kwame Ampadu, J.A. Adofo, Dr Paa Bobo, Daddy Lumba, and Nana Acheampong as artists he looks up to.

Some of the awards Bisa Kdei has won include Highlife Artiste of the Year; Ghana Music Honours, Highlife Song of the Year; Ghana Music Awards UK, Most Popular Song of the Year; Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Best Male Act of the Year; Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) and Best Movie Soundtrack of the Year; Kumawood Movie Awards.
