I Decided To Drop An EP Instead Of An Album To Solidify My Brand Some More – Camidoh

Ghanaian Afropop and “Sugarcane” hitmaker, Camidoh has stated that he dropped an EP instead of an album to further solidify his brand some more.

According to him in an interview with Ameyaw Debrah TV, he said after the release of hit single “Sugarcane” he felt people from around the world came to know him and his craft through that single hit so he thought dropping an EP to keep his new fans and followers active and solidifying his brand will be better of an album.

The R&B singer who has now set the peace with his hit songs said, he wanted his fans and followers to feel his vibes before dropping an album.

“Strategically, we felt like we had to solidify the brand some more, like people in Ghana know Camidoh that I’ve got couple of tunes and that I’m really this good or that, but people outside Ghana in the other side of the world like they pretty much just know me for ‘Sugarcane’, might as well just give them something to really understand that this is a grounded artist. We just wanted to really solidify the brand globally before we put out my major project,” he said.
