Ghanaian cultural group, Anomaa Cultural Group alongside Sheriffah Gunu and Ayisoba will this coming weekend entertain visitors at the Kwame Nkrumah Mausolem center. .
Located in downtown Accra, Ghana is the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum. It has a Mausoleum, which is the final resting place of Ghana’s first President and Africanist. The park has a museum that host’s rare artifacts relating to Ghana’s independence and tours at the park give visitors in-depth history of the Sub-Saharan struggle for independence. The park offers a guided tour in English, nicely giving the history of Nkrumah and the time of independence. Much of the tour is outdoors. Anomaa cultural will treat tourist to authentic Ghanaian folk music and traditional dance.
The management of the facility told our reporter that as part enforcing an environment tat will make tourists and visitors fell the cultura heritage of the park, bands that pioneer the culture of Ghana are invited very once a while to provide entertainment. The leader of Anomaa Cultural Group, Ronald Kodua maintained that the group will “assemble traditional Ghanaian instruments like gome, talking drum, fromtomfrom, kora and congas” in their performance. Tourists will witness an episode of traditional/contemporary Ghanaian music; The group will as well be robed in traditional Ghanaian outfits made from kente and printext to lighten up the cultural atmosphere.
