Former Blackstars Captain Asamoah Gyan has advised that for Ghanaian pastors to get more people to come to church they need to make their services short.
Though not backed by data, it is believed that a lot of people have decided to stop going to church due to the longer hours they spend in church.
It’s known that some Churches in the country go to church as early as 7 am and close around 3 or 4 pm, which many believe is a waste of time.
The former footballer has shared his view on the matter in a live video advising that Pastors focus on quality and not on quantity.
He mentioned that 1hour 30 minutes is okay for a Church service and not long hours, which he believes sometimes makes the church service boring.
He contends that drawn-out religious sessions frequently cause attendees to get disinterested, which eventually lowers attendance because they wouldn’t want to return next time and sit there for longer hours.
