Ghanaian music producer, politician and currently the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has called on all stakeholders in the music industry the need to help support GHAMRO to succeed.
The Honorable made this statement when he was given a speech at the VGMA23 National Music Summit on 21 June 2022 at LA PALM ROYAL BEACH HOTEL in Accra.
He said, “You can criticize and say a lot of things about GHAMRO but it’s still going to be your duty to support the board to run and succeed because when GHAMRO succeed today it means you are all going to benefit from them but if you should describe the board in a disrespectful manner and still don’t come to support then what are you doing”.
The must be a need to call on all stakeholders and musicians to support GHAMRO to really push to get to the top so everybody can get his or her royalties ideally, He said.
VGMA23 National Music Summit which Chatter House and the Board Operators sponsored was designed to take into consideration some challenges the industry as a whole is facing and how best it can surely be meted out for the industry to have a breathing space to function smoothly for the betterment of the country.
